Who am I?
Olivier, I was born in Guadeloupe and have been living here for almost 46 years. In love with Guadeloupe, I have set myself the challenge of presenting Guadeloupe from the perspective of a local, for one year.

Anse Bertrand - Port Louis
Go hiking along the coastline from Port-Louis to Anse-Bertrand, following the Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin, to explore the mangrove and discover its natural treasures. The flora is particularly diverse, with various species of mangroves growing here. The fauna is also very rich, with many birds, dragonflies, and crustaceans to observe.
Marie-Galante and its paradisiacal beaches
Marie-Galante, a land of rural traditions, cultivating a peaceful way of life, mischievously charms more than one observer, and its heartbeat quickens in the blink of an eye to the rhythm of festivities and family bonds. Today, Marie-Galante emerges as the new destination in the French Antilles. Covering an area of 158 km², the island, more commonly known as the "big pancake" due to its circular shape and low relief (the highest peak, Morne Constant, rises to 204m), comprises three municipalities and 12,410 inhabitants.
